Established in 2005, The MENA Cristal Festival is one of the biggest advertising awards in the Middle East and North Africa. The ambition of the Festival is to associate creativity and business, and to promote Arabic advertising creativity. It rewards the best advertising creations for the different media with the Cristal trophy. Juries are composed of international professionals that hail from agencies and advertisers.

2008

The award was granted to Etoile “La boutique”, Wafi City, for its unique and astonishing design, bringing together Art and Fashion under the same roof in an inspirational and promising manner. The exceptionally beautiful interior has been fashioned in baroque fusion style where French Art de Vivre and Baroque Orientalism blend to create an exclusive ambiance.

2010

Etoile “La boutique” has been awarded the highly prestigious Gulf Connoisseur Award for the region’s “Best Fashion Boutique” in 2010, officially recognizing it for its invaluable influence on UAE fashion.

Ingie Chalhoub, Founder, President and Managing Director of Etoile Group, has been working towards this goal since she opened the first Etoile “La boutique” store in 2005 and set upon her mission of redefining fashion in the region.

2013

Ingie Chalhoub, CEO and Managing Director of Etoile Group and Creative Director of Fashion label INGIE Paris was awarded the title of ELLE BUSINESS WOMAN OF THE YEAR at the first ELLE Style Awards that took place at the Art Sawa Gallery in Al Quoz on Friday the 13th of December.

As pioneer in the fashion industry in the Middle East, Ingie Chalhoub works as the managing director of Etoile “La boutique”. Due to her own achievements she became an integral to the luxury fashion industry the Middle East. She managed to bring over 200 international ultra-luxury brands to the region. Among those names are Chanel, Valentino, Ralph Lauren, Tod’s, John Galliano and Hogan.

2014

Listed among the Most Influential Arab Women on the distinguished Forbes Middle East.

Nominated as part of a project called “Voices” to publish on Style.com. A new initiative showcasing the perspectives of some of the most fascinating, well-traveled, and influential fashion and cultural personalities from the Middle East and beyond.
Ingie Chalhoub was nominated as a Contributor under the Project called “Voice” as an entrepreneur. Thanks to the experience she already gained by opening up the first Chanel boutique in the Middle East back in 1983. Ingie Chalhoub has built up her career of being the President and Managing Director of the Etoile Group.

Listed among the 100 Most Powerful Arab Women by CEO Middle East and Arabian Business

Ingie Chalhoub awarded the renowned Murex D’or Award in Lebanon.
Ingie Chalhoub, CEO and Managing Director of Etoile Group and Creative Director of luxury fashion label INGIE Paris was awarded the Murex D’or during a Gala Dinner at the Casino du Liban that marks the 15th edition of the prestigious award. The Murex D’or recognizes achievements in the domain of art in Lebanon, the Arab region and the world. Ingie Chalhoub was awarded for her ongoing contributions to the fashion business both regionally and internationally. Ingie Chalhoub was joined by many international figures such as Italian actress Ornella Muti, along with famous personalities from the Middle East.

The Murex D’or is the most recent in a long list of accolades presented to Ingie Chalhoub and reinforces her position as a pioneering force in Middle East fashion.

Upon receiving the award Ingie Chalhoub commented: “I am truly honoured and grateful to receive such a prestigious award, I thank the Murex D’or committee for recognizing my efforts and also for their work to nurture the art and fashion community in the region.”
