The Maintenance Associate is responsible for performing preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance on equipment, systems, and facilities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This role requires hands-on technical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and general building issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on equipment, machinery, and building systems.
- Diagnose mechanical, electrical and HVAC problems and carry out repairs.
- Maintain lighting, doors, flooring and general building infrastructure.
- The ability to read technical manuals and layouts.
- Support office moves, equipment installation and workplace adjustments.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and repairs.
- Ensure all maintenance work complies with safety standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Coordinate with external contractors and vendors when specialized repair work is required.
- Provide input to the maintenance supervisor/manager on recurring issues and system upgrades.
Your Profile:
- Diploma in Electrical, Mechanical, or any MEP discipline.
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in MEP maintenance. Preferably in retail.
- Knowledge of electrical troubleshooting, plumbing repairs, and HVAC support.
- Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and test safely.
- Good communication skills in English.
- Valid UAE Driving license.
